Metaspectral, Planet partner for planetary intelligence
Metaspectral has partnered with Planet to integrate AI-powered analytics with hyperspectral satellite data. The collaboration aims to provide high-confidence intelligence for environmental and industrial monitoring.

The deal will see Metaspectral provide AI-powered analytics for data from Tanager, Planet’s hyperspectral satellite constellation.
According to Metaspectral , ‘planetary intelligence’ derived from Planet data is emerging as a new model for understanding the physical world: continuous sensing, real-world data, AI-assisted analysis, and decision support.
Metaspectral’s Clarity AI platform “provides the intelligence and infrastructure to convert imagery into science-based spectral evidence for monitoring, change detection, and high-consequence decisions across agriculture, forestry, and environmental monitoring,” the company says.
“Tanager gives organisations access to a new level of spectral information from orbit,” said Francis Doumet, CEO of Metaspectral.
