NEW DELHI: Meta on Wednesday told the ministry of electronics and information technology that posts by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other prominent Indian personalities will receive additional oversight, with reviews to be conducted at a senior level, PTI reported, citing sources.The assurance came a day after the government summoned Meta officials over the brief removal of PM Modi's first selfie video on Facebook, which was aimed at addressing Gen Z on the NEET paper leak issue.Meta admitted that the video was briefly taken down due to an "error".According to PTI, Meta officials are also likely to meet government representatives later this week or early next week to discuss the incident.In the video, PM Modi assured students that the government would introduce tougher measures to curb paper leaks.
