Met to re-examine CCTV from Jill Dando murder case

The Met Police has confirmed it will re-examine CCTV footage relating to the unsolved murder of Jill Dando, 27 years ago.
The BBC presenter and journalist was shot dead with a single bullet on her doorstep in Fulham in April 1999 . Despite one of the biggest and most high-profile murder investigations in British history, the case remains unsolved.
A Met spokesperson said recent advancements in CCTV enhancement technology had "provided investigators with the opportunity to re-examine original footage from Putney Bridge train station".
The CCTV includes an unidentified man who was seen sprinting near the scene of the shooting, 20 minutes after the event.
