KARACHI - The film "Mera Lyari", produced under the Sindh government, has entered the race for an Oscar nomination, which the Sindh government has termed a matter of honour. In this regard, an important meeting of the Film Board of the Information Department was held under the chair of Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon. The meeting reviewed the progress made in promoting the film industry in the province, ongoing film projects, future strategies, and collaboration with OTT platforms. The meeting was attended by Information Secretary Kashif Gulzar Sheikh, Director General Information Moez Pirzada, Director Films Hizbullah Memon, Board Members Waqas Rizvi, Salim Khan, Ehtesham Ansari, Rab Nawaz, and other relevant officials.
