Meningococcal case confirmed at Rosmini College on Auckland's North Shore
Health New Zealand has confirmed a case of meningococcal disease at Rosmini College in Auckland, following a previous suspected case in July. Officials state the risk to the school community is low and have initiated standard public health follow-up procedures.

Health New Zealand has confirmed a Rosmini College student has been diagnosed with meningococcal disease.
In a statement to the school, Health NZ said there was also one prior suspected case, notified in July.
There were no close contacts in the school community from either case, it said.
"The National Public Health Service has undertaken the appropriate public health follow-up, with close contacts identified and offered treatment and support.
"We are investigating any links between the two students but the risk to the school community is considered low.
"To protect patient privacy, we are unable to provide any further details."
It comes weeks after Waikato young woman Kyla Te Wano Greensill died from the disease.
