In August, Deadline reported that the Duchess of Sussex, 45, was in talks to join season 3 of Guy Ritchie 's hit Netflix series The Gentlemen — but after the rumors proved to be just that, a source told Rob Shuter 's Naughty But Nice Substack on Monday, October 19, that Meghan is unhappy with the bad publicity.
"Meghan was delighted when everyone thought Guy Ritchie wanted her," the source claimed. "She enjoyed every headline. But once it became clear there was no role, the story suddenly changed from Hollywood comeback to Hollywood betrayal!"
Though Star previously reported that Meghan spoke with the show's casting director ahead of her and Prince Harry 's return to England in August, she never received a formal offer.
