Meghan Markle’s brother is ‘person of interest’ in dad’s sex offense probe

Thomas Markle Jr. has been named a person of interest in a Philippine investigation regarding sexual exploitation material found in his father's home. Authorities are currently examining evidence, though Markle Jr. is not yet considered a formal suspect.
Why it matters
The involvement of high-profile family members in criminal investigations often draws significant public and media scrutiny regarding privacy and legal accountability.
Meghan Markle’s half-brother is a “person of interest” in an investigation into sexual exploitation possibly involving their father.
However, authorities are not calling Thomas Markle Jr a suspect in Thomas Markle Sr’s alleged possession of child sexual exploitation material, according to the Telegraph.
“There are indications suggesting that the son may also be involved in the crime, but only as a person of interest so far 2 he is not yet treated as a suspect,” Philippines’ Interior Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla announced in a news conference.
