Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, appears on Masterchef Australia as guest judge, Prince Harry calls in

During her guest-hosting appearance on MasterChef Australia, Meghan Markle left contestants and hosts shocked. Ms Markle appeared as a guest judge on the 18th season of the cooking show, with the episode aired on Channel 10 on Sunday. Contestants were tasked with transforming a staple ingredient into a dish “fit for a duchess”. During the judging portion of the show, where the final four cooks were facing off for a position in the top three, a producer handed Ms Markle a phone and said, “We’ve had a phone call to the studio”. “Hi my love,” she replied, with a big smile. MasterChef judge Poh Ling Yeow covered her hand with her mouth when she noticed Ms Markle’s husband. Prince Harry appeared on the screen, wearing a suit at what looked to be a plane suspended from the ceiling in the background. “G’day,” he said.
