Unemployed youth in Chittoor and Annamayya districts will gain access to employment opportunities this week, with the mega job melas scheduled in Chittoor on August 26 and 27, and B. Kothakota on August 29.

In Chittoor, the district skill development wing will conduct the mela at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology (SVCET) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 20 companies, including Schneider Electric, Premier Energies, Isuzu, Foxconn, Flipkart, Apollo Tyres, Tata Electronics, TeamLease and Kia, are expected to participate in recruiting over 500 candidates.

In Annamayya district, the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation will organise a job mela at Aditya Degree College in B. Kothakota on August 29, offering around 700 vacancies. About 12 companies, including Amara Raja, Muthoot Finance, Tata AIA Life Insurance and Apollo Pharmacy, are expected to recruit candidates.
