Why it matters
It underscores efforts to support small-scale women-led enterprises and foster local economic development through skill training.
The livelihood cell of Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Madurai, organised a meeting with 44 women entrepreneurs on it campus here on Saturday.
The participants were all women who had undergone skill training through JSS in previous years and had subsequently started their own small enterprises.
The meeting provided an interactive platform for the entrepreneurs to share their experiences, deliberate on the challenges they face and collectively explore possible solutions, said the organisers.
Discussions covered areas such as obtaining business licences and registrations, expanding existing enterprises, accessing new markets, introducing innovative products and ideas, and adopting new technologies.
