Medicover Hospitals has clarified that it has no political affiliations expressing concerns over some YouTube channels linking political parties and leaders with it.

In a statement, Chief Operating Officer of Medicover Hospitals India Mahesh Degloorkar said leaders from different parties and governments had attended the inaugurations of Medicover hospitals in their official capacities.

In Telangana, former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao inaugurated a Medicover hospital during the BRS government, while Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated another under the Congress government. Union Ministers G. Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar attended the functions.

The statement said former Minister T. Harish Rao attended the opening of the Begumpet hospital, while former Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy had also attended a Medicover inauguration.
