Medico’s death: police register ‘culpable homicide’ charges against accused

Police in Rajamahendravaram have charged two individuals with 'culpable homicide not amounting to murder' following a fatal car accident that killed a medical student. The accused are currently in custody awaiting further legal proceedings.
The Rajamahendravaram police on Saturday registered a case of ‘culpable homicide not amounting to murder’ against Suravarapu Daswanth and Andrew Joseph Edwards, who, on the night of August 3, had allegedly rammed their car into a two-wheeler, causing grievous injuries to PG medical student K. Priyanka, who was pillion-riding, at a private mall in the city.
