Medical camp organised in Vijayawada

A medical camp under “Healthy Vijayawada” initiative was organised at Lahari Vidya Mandir in Payakapuram, Vijayawada, on Sunday (September 20, 2026), with over 200 patients receiving medical services.
The camps are jointly being organised by the Praja Arogya Vedika and Jana Vignana Vedika every two months on the third Sunday to provide medical care for people suffering from diabetes, hypertension, epilepsy, and paralysis.
Doctors Chava Muralikrishna and B. Sriharsha examined the patients and prescribed medicines. They stressed the importance of healthy dietary habits, a proper lifestyle, regular medical check-ups, exercise and adherence to doctors’ advice to manage diabetes and hypertension effectively.
Volunteers distributed essential tablets and insulin to patients and explained their proper usage. A medical team from HCG Cancer Hospital, led by Dr. Devarapalli Vinod and Sundar, also conducted free screening tests for patients.
