Medha Patkar to release books on social worker Shivaji Kaganikar

Activist Medha Patkar will release three books on social worker Devraj Urs award winner Shivaji Kaganikar in Belagavi on October 4.

Sarvodayacha Vatsaru, an autobiography in Marathi, Gudda Nadina Gandhi , a book in Kannada by Sharada Gopal, and Shivaji Kaganikar- a Sarvodaya worker and his grassroot experiences , by Gopal Dabde, will be released.

Belagavi-based Guruvarya V.G. Sathe Marathi Prabodhini and Marathi Development Institute of Mumbai will jointly organise the event at Gogte Auditorium in the school of culture in Belagavi camp area at 4 p.m. Rajeshwari Joshi of Jagruti Women’s group will speak about the Kannada book.
