MechCAD 2026 CAD/CAM solution launched by machinery experts

Mechatronics Designed has launched MechCAD 2026, a new parametric CAD/CAM software suite developed in-house for factory automation machinery. The software is designed to handle large assemblies and includes features for robot-cell simulation and 2D drafting.
Why it matters
This provides a lower-cost, specialized alternative to major industry-standard CAD software for automation engineers.
Mechatronics Designed, a builder of factory automation machines in Thailand, has launched MechCAD 2026 – a software based on its proprietary CAD/CAM software used for its own automation machinery design work.
Available on the Microsoft Store, MechCAD 2026 is a parametric CAD capable of opening native Solidworks SLDPRT/SLDASM and Alibre parts without requiring those programs installed, by using Mechatronics Designed’s own file readers, allowing users to assemble, detail and machine supplier files directly.
Additionally, it offers a toolset for assemblies of thousands of parts, production drawings, robot-cell and motion simulation, automatic BOM and CAM for milling and turning operations. Licensing is perpetual, costing from $990.
