Meat thrown from 7th floor during Ganesh event in Hyderabad, 3 detained

Three people were detained for questioning after meat was reported to have been thrown from the seventh floor of an apartment building in Hyderabad during preparations for a Ganesh immersion programme on Sunday afternoon, police said.The incident took place at around 3 pm and briefly led to tension in the area. Police teams from the Charminar Zone reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and began an inquiry.Charminar Zone DCP Khare Kiran said three residents of the apartment were detained in connection with the incident. They were identified as Mohammed Imran Qureshi, Arshiya Begum and Sabina.POLICE BEGIN PROBEAccording to police, organisers of the Ganesh programme later submitted a petition seeking action over the incident.
