NEW DELHI: India has slammed Pakistan for alleging Indian involvement in an attack on a military base in Karachi Saturday, saying Pakistan needs to look inwards and dismantle terror infrastructure on its territory. Four paramilitary personnel were killed in a terrorist attack on a Sindh Rangers compound in Karachi Saturday night. It was the city’s first major terrorist strike since Oct 2024. Pakistani security forces killed six terrorists and captured one alive. In Karachi on Saturday, PM Shehbaz Sharif accused India of using “proxies” to undermine peace and stability in Pakistan. Ministry of external affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal rejected the allegations as “baseless”.
