Munster head coach Clayton McMillan admits his side were worn down in the final quarter of their 26-20 defeat to Glasgow Warriors , but he believes there were still some "green shoots" in their overall performance.
The province left a 20-14 lead slip with just over 20 minutes to play, as they had to settle for a losing bonus-point against a powerful Warriors team, who picked up their third consecutive win at Thomond Park.
With 22 minutes to play, JJ Hanrahan's penalty kick nudged Munster six points in front after what had been a solid opening hour by McMillan's side, but their lack of depth off the bench showed down the stretch, in a game their head coach agreed "slowly" got away from them.
"In the end, I think it became a game of territory and possession and generating pressure off that," McMillan said.
