McLaren reveals the McL 6GT at the 2026 Monterey Car Week
McLaren has unveiled the McL 6GT, a new supercar inspired by Bruce McLaren’s original 1960s design, with production slated for 2028. The vehicle emphasizes an analog driving experience, utilizing carbon-fiber construction and a V8 internal combustion engine.

The first McLaren of its kind, the McL 6GT draws inspiration from the McLaren M6GT, Bruce McLaren’s original but ultimately unrealized supercar project. A production version is planned for 2028, bringing that vision to reality.
According to the auto maker, the McL 6GT blends its purity of character with lightweight carbon-fiber construction and V8 internal combustion power for the first time in a McLaren since the McLaren F1.
