MBBS counselling in Andhra Pradesh: candidates told to opt for all available colleges

Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTRUHS) has suggested that students participating in MBBS counselling opt for a maximum number of colleges or all available colleges as options in the order of their choices to increase chances of getting a seat.
Addressing the media at the university in Vijayawada on Tuesday, Vice-Chancellor P. Chandrasekhar and Registrar T. Sai Sudheer clarified that reports claiming that some candidates were not allotted colleges according to their ranks in the first phase of counselling were not true. Seat allotments are made based on candidates’ ranks, availability of seats, and the college options registered by the candidates, the V-C said.
