According to a report by The New York Post, Manhattan lawmaker Gale Brewer, who chairs the council's Committee on Governmental Operations, State & Federal Legislation, has said that the hearing has been set for September 22.Alongside this, Queens Councilman Phil Wong is expected to introduce a separate bill demanding greater transparency from City Hall regarding this practice.
