Share article Exclusive: Tributes are flowing for Bondi Rescue alum Matt Dee after news of his death broke unexpectedly on Wednesday morning.
Fellow Bondi Rescue lifeguard Daniel McLaughlin, known to friends and fans as Beardy, struggled to put Dee into just a few words when speaking to nine.com.au because “there really was no one quite like him”.

“Matt was such a good bloke, and it was an absolute privilege to call him a mate,” McLaughlin said.
