Jubilee Deputy Party Leader Fred Matiang'i has officially joined the Azimio Coalition's National Council.

This come after being appointed to the coalition's top decision-making organ alongside former Meru Governor Peter Munya and Senator Lenny Kivuti.

The appointments were announced on Monday by Azimio Council Secretary General Caroli Omondi following a meeting of the coalition's leadership.

Omondi said the council had resolved to reorganise the coalition's structures and other organs as part of a rebranding exercise.
