DEHRADUN: An investigation has been launched to identify and arrest two men who allegedly attempted to abduct a 46-year-old woman on Sahastradhara Road of Dehradun’s Raipur area, police said on Friday.The incident took place around 6.45am on Wednesday when the woman was returning home on her two-wheeler after dropping her daughter at college. The men, wearing masks, were travelling in a black hatchback car without a registration number and allegedly tried to intercept and drag her into the vehicle. The car appeared to be new and had an “applied for” sticker in place of a registration number, police said.A few women sanitation workers who witnessed the incident rushed to her aid.
