BATHINDA: Three masked men fired shots at the residence of noted Punjabi singer Gulab Sidhu in Pharwahi village in Barnala district early Sunday.According to CCTV footage obtained by Barnala police, the incident took place at around 1.33am, when the masked men fired 5-6 rounds outside the residence.Gulab Sidhu was close to slain rapper Shubhdeep Singh, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala. Gulab's Instagram display picture carries the tagline "Justice for Sidhu Moosewala".Gulab had earlier been targeted by some gangsters, following which police provided him with two gunmen. At the time of the firing, Gulab was not at home and is believed to be in Australia.Recently, a song titled Judaa, featuring Gulab Sidhu, was released and has received 7.4 million views in two months.Villagers said they heard gunshots near Gulab Sidhu's residence after midnight.
