MAS flags major AI, quantum computing risks to financial institutions; forms task force to prepare defences

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has formed a task force to address cybersecurity risks posed by AI and quantum computing in the financial sector. The central bank plans to issue supervisory expectations for quantum resilience to protect financial institutions from emerging threats.
