Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty recovered from early losses on Wednesday, driven by gains in IT stocks and HDFC Bank. Despite a dip in early trade, the markets rebounded following a strong performance in the previous session.
Why it matters
Market volatility in India reflects broader investor sentiment and the influence of institutional capital flows on major financial indices.
Benchmark indices, the Sensex and the Nifty, bounced back after falling in early trade on Wednesday (October 14, 2026), as a rally in IT stocks and HDFC Bank helped the markets sustain the previous session’s recovery.
