Fri: US- Fed chair Kevin Warsh speech at Jackson Hole

It's an interesting week on the data front, with a number of releases loaded with implications for monetary policy settings.

Wednesday's July CPI data will be the most keenly watched.

There is an expectation that inflation will take another significant step down, dropping from 3.8% to 3.2% as last year's sharp July rise drops out of the calculations.

The RBA's preferred trimmed mean CPI measure should also ease down to 3.5%.
