A source told Us Weekly “their busy schedules and distance” were “factors” in the split.
“They were still trying to work on the marriage a few months ago, but it ultimately wasn’t working,” the source continued. “At some point, the rose-colored glasses came off for Margaret, and she felt she needed to take a step back.”
However, Page Six heard the estranged couple’s split was mutual.
According to Us Weekly’s source, the music producer “had expressed to friends” that “it was difficult being married” and the estranged pair “don’t have divorce plans yet,” per the source.
