Marcos vows expanded support for MSMEs to strengthen Philippine value chain

President Marcos vowed to expand government support for local manufacturers, particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

He said stronger local manufacturing would reduce dependence on imported parts and keep more value within the Philippine economy.

The President cited robotics and other advanced technologies as key to improving productivity and helping local firms compete globally.
