While President Marcos said he was aware of the recent tirades of Vice President Sara Duterte against him, he opted to brush them off.
In an interview before leaving India, Marcos said he had no response to the Vice President’s anger and chose to leave the matter as it is.
"You know, I hear about them, but I don't really even have a response," Marcos told Philippine media in a press briefing on Sunday, Sept. 13.
"If she feels very angry, I suppose, with what's happening to her. And I am the target of that anger, or the main target of that anger. What can I do?" the President added.
He went on and said: "You cannot force anyone to love you."
