Manufacturing Contributes 16.5% of GDP, Offers 2 Million Jobs - UMA

Uganda's manufacturing sector contributes over 16.5% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), offers approximately two million direct jobs, accounts for 25% of the country's manufactured exports, and generates more than 33% of domestic tax revenues, the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) has revealed.
