Manikandan to headline Neelam Studios’ ‘Makkal Kaavalan’; first look out

Tamil actor K Manikandan is all set to headline the upcoming action drama, Makkal Kaavalan , the makers announced on Wednesday (August 5) with a first look. Written and directed by Santhosh Kumar, the film is set to be produced by Birla Studios and Neelam Studios.

The first look poster features Manikandan as a cop at the forefront of a riot. “ Makkal Kaavalan follows a simple man determined to live with dignity until a corrupt system leaves him with only two choices: surrender or resist. What begins as one man’s struggle for survival grows into something far larger, forcing him to become a leader he never sought to be. As the battle intensifies, the price of resistance mounts and the line between an ordinary man and a people’s protector begins to disappear,” reads the logline in a press release from the makers.
