Manginapudi beach decked up for Maha Ganapathi Utsavams
Authorities in Krishna district have finalized preparations for the 11-day Maha Ganapathi Utsavams at Manginapudi beach. The event includes a 63-foot idol, cultural programs, and strict security and safety protocols for devotees.

All arrangements have been made for the Maha Ganapathi Utsavams, which will begin with Vinayaka Chavithi puja at Manginapudi beach in Krishna district on September 14.
The beach has been decked up for the 11-day festival, with elaborate arrangements made for devotees. The police have made security arrangements for the festivities.
Special pujas will be performed for the 63-foot Ganesh idol during the festival, and ‘teertha prasadams’ will be distributed to devotees at the pandal.
Officials of the Revenue, Medical and Health, Police, AP Transco, Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), Fire Services and other departments are monitoring the arrangements.
Cultural programmes will be organised near the Mandapam at the beach every day from 5 p.m., the organisers said.
Mines and Geology Minister Kollu Ravindra and Krishna district Collector D. K. Balaji visited Manginapudi beach on Sunday and reviewed the arrangements with officials.
