In a drive held across the city recently, the Mangaluru police found the 21 Bangladeshi nationals staying illegally in the city using fake Aadhaar cards and other forged documents. They were found residing in Surathkal, Kodikal, near Karnataka Polytechnic, and in Moodibidri. A majority of them worked at construction sites. Getting wind of the raids, some Bangladesh nationals fled the city.
