Mangaluru Cabinet meeting to take up coastal region development proposals, says Rizwan Arshad
Minister Rizwan Arshad announced that an upcoming Cabinet meeting in Mangaluru will focus on development proposals for the coastal region. The government is also implementing 'Praja Seva' meetings to address public grievances at the taluk and hobli levels.

Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Udupi District In-charge Minister Rizwan Arshad said on Wednesday that the Cabinet meeting scheduled in Mangaluru on September 18 is aimed at taking up proposals meant for the development of the coastal region.
Speaking in Manipal after inaugurating the Udupi taluk-level Praja Seva meeting, the Minister said: “Through the Cabinet meeting emphasis will be placed on the development of the coastal region as a whole, including tourism development and business sector, and creating employment opportunities.”
He said Praja Seva meetings will be held to uphold the voices of people by listening to their grievances and addressing them. Solutions to some of the grievances will be provided on the spot, he said.
Time-bound solutions to the grievances of people will be provided by holding meetings.
