The Mangaluru city traffic police have urged users to avoid roads around Praja Soudha, the district office complex in Padil, in view of the State cabinet meeting scheduled on Friday.

A communique said Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar and his Cabinet colleagues will arrive in Mangaluru on September 17 and stay in the city. The following day, the Cabinet meeting will be held at the Praja Soudha.

On September 17 evening and September 19 morning, there will be VIP movement on Mangaluru International Airport, Kavoor, Bondel, Mary Hill, KPT, Kadri Kambala, Bunts Hostel, Dr. B R Ambedkar (Jyothi) Junction, Hampanakatte, Clock Tower, and Hamilton Junction.

VIP movement would be there on Hamilton Junction, Clock Tower, Hampanakatte, Dr. B R Ambedkar (Jyothi) Junction, KPT Junction, Nanthoor Circle, Bhagwan Mahaveer (Pumpwell) Circle, Naguri, Bajal Cross (Praja Soudha), and Padil Junction stretch.
