Mandya gears up for Bharat Jodo Yuva Sangha rollout on July 30

The government of Karnataka is launching 'Bharat Jodo Yuva Sanghas' in Mandya to encourage youth participation in community development and social harmony. Registration for the initiative begins on July 30 for individuals aged 16 to 35.
Why it matters
This initiative represents a state-level effort to mobilize youth for civic engagement and nation-building through structured local associations.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kumar has directed officials to take all necessary steps to ensure the successful formation of Bharat Jodo Yuva Sanghas across Mandya district, following an initiative by the government of Karnataka to promote sports, culture, scientific temper and social harmony among the youth.
Presiding over a preparatory meeting in his office on July 21, Dr. Kumar said a taluk-level committee has been constituted to oversee implementation of the programme, and stressed the need for coordinated efforts by all departments.
He said the government of Karnataka has issued an order to establish Bharat Jodo Yuva Sanghas in every gram panchayat and urban ward to encourage greater youth participation in community development.
