Manapparai Government Arts and Science College has over 1,000 students on its rolls, making it one of the most popular choices among the youth in Tiruchi. However, its campus in Pannapatti, is facing serious infrastructural problems, including severe water shortage, absence of bus connections, and other facilities such as sports ground and canteen.
The college initially functioned from a government school campus in Pannapatti before being shifted to its permanent site inaugurated by former Chief Minister M.K. Stalin in 2025. The institution’s seven departments have an enrolment of over 1,000 students.
