That battle ended on Monday as the 66-year-old was exposed as a convicted rapist.
Carr, now in prison and considering an appeal, built his career managing some of the biggest names in Australian music and sport, including singers Kate Ceberano and Tina Arena and AFL star Dustin Martin.
When charged in 2023, defence barrister Dermot Dann KC managed to keep his client’s name and identity hidden from all media reporting.
