Man Utd staff believe only one Red ‘emerged with credit’ after Como display - it wasn’t the goalscorer

Manchester United staff reportedly identified Amad Diallo as the only player to perform well during a recent defeat to Como. The team's poor performance has increased pressure on manager Michael Carrick ahead of upcoming matches.
Why it matters
High-profile football clubs face significant scrutiny, and poor performance often leads to speculation regarding coaching staff stability.
Amad Diallo was perhaps Manchester United's brightest spark in Wednesday's defeat to Como, albeit he didn't have much competition.
The attacker started the tie on the bench but was introduced to the action at half-time, replacing Matheus Cunha for the second half.
United were trailing 2-0 by the break, so Amad was already facing a mammoth task to try and turn the game around.
He proceeded to earn the highest FotMob rating of any United player, and assisted Joshua Zirkzee for his consolation goal in injury time.
Amad recorded the most touches in the opposition's box (seven) and the most dribbles (five), making it no surprise he ranked above the rest of his teammates come the full-time whistle.
ESPN 's Rob Dawson claims that Red Devils staff believe the Ivorian was the only United player to have 'emerged with any credit'.
