Man Utd defender departs - with more exits expected to follow
Manchester United defender Tyler Fredricson has transferred to the Swiss club Lausanne-Sport. The club is expected to offload several other players during the current transfer window as they reshape their squad.
Why it matters
This reflects the ongoing roster management and financial restructuring of major professional football clubs during transfer windows.
Manchester United youngster Tyler Fredricson has left the club to join Swiss side Lausanne-Sport in a permanent deal.
The 21-year-old rose through the club's academy and went on to make four first-team appearances for the Red Devils .
"Everybody at United thanks Tyler for all his efforts during his time with the club and we wish him all the best for the next chapter of his career," United said in a statement.
Lausanne-Sport is United's sister club, with the Swiss side also owned by Ineos. There is a possibility that United could buy him back in the future, should he develop as hoped.
