Michael Carrick will be without three Reds for this afternoon's pre-season clash with Paris Saint-Germain in Gothenburg.
The Red Devils lock horns with the reigning European champions in a rare meeting, which is pencilled in for a 4pm kick-off (BST).
Yet, Carrick will have to make do without two of his most trusted lieutenants in the form of Senne Lammens and Matheus Cunha , both of whom are ill .
They will, however, link up with the squad in Ireland , where the side faces Leeds United at Croke Park on August 12.
The two stars, who signed in the 2025 summer window, only reported back to Carrington in recent weeks due to their World Cup involvement, but will be back playing starting roles as soon as the Premier League campaign gets underway.
