BENGALURU: A 30-year-old carpenter strangled his pregnant wife to death using a dog’s leash and died by suicide in their rented house at Channamanakere Achhukattu, south Bengaluru, Thursday.The incident came to light when house owner Shekhar called Channamanakere Achhukattu police in the afternoon, stating the couple — Manoj Kumar and wife Swapna — were heard fighting loudly after which there was no response from their first-floor house.Police broke the lock and found Swapna’s body in the bedroom and Manoj hanging from the ceiling fan.
