Man Star Andrew Garfield Hasn't Yet Congratulated Tom Holland on Brand New Day's Success, And Admits He Hasn't Seen It

Actor Andrew Garfield has clarified that he has not yet seen Tom Holland's latest film, 'Brand New Day,' and therefore has not reached out to congratulate him. He also denied rumors of his involvement in the upcoming 'Avengers: Doomsday' film.
Why it matters
Public interest in superhero franchise casting and actor relationships remains a significant driver of entertainment media engagement.
Andrew Garfield has admitted he's yet to congratulate Tom Holland on the incredible success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day , and still hasn't seen the movie.
Asked by Variety whether he had checked in with his fellow Spider-bro following Brand New Day's astonishing $2.3 billion box office bonanza, Garfield said he had not, and added that he didn't want his praise to be "disingenuous."
"I don't want to be disingenuous," Garfield said. "A movie making money and people going to see it is an incredible thing, but I will reach out to him once I've seen the movie, which I'm very excited to see. And his other film, The Odyssey, I haven't managed to see either yet. I will send him a message when I see the work he has done."
Hopefully the two blockbusters meet Garfield's expectations whenever he does get around to watching them.
