Man sought after teen punched 'without warning' at Auckland bus stop

A man is being sought by police after a teenager was punched "without warning" at a bus stop in West Auckland earlier this month. The alleged assault took place at around 2.09pm on September 9 at a bus stop on Swanson Road, near the intersection with Mihini Road in Henderson. Senior Constable Paul Stanko said the 16-year-old victim was waiting for the bus while three men were in the shelter "drinking beer". “No words had been exchanged, and there had been no interaction between either group when, without warning, one male approached the victim and punched him.
