A man in his 20s has died following an alleged assault that occurred during the Listowel Races last month. Gardaí are continuing their investigation and have issued an appeal for witnesses and footage.

The man, aged in his 20s, was conveyed to Cork University Hospital following an alleged assault on September 24th and past away last night.
A post mortem examination will take place on Monday morning.
