Man murdered for confronting daughter’s stalker near Srivilliputtur

Three men have been arrested in Watrap for the murder of a 38-year-old man who had previously confronted one of the suspects for stalking his daughter. The suspects attacked the victim and his family members with knives.

The police identified the accused as V. Periyasamy (21), V. Alaguraja (25), and G. Karuppasamy (18).
The police said the man had confronted Periyasamy for reportedly stalking his daughter a few months ago. Irked by this, on Thursday night, the three men attacked him with knives when he was near his house.
His son rushed to rescue him, but the armed men assaulted him as well.
Later, his mother and his daughter attempted to rescue him, but they too were attacked and abused.
