A 29-year-old youth was allegedly murdered by his father at Anakkulam near Mankulam in Idukki. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Justin.
According to investigators, Justin and his father, Joy, frequently quarrelled over the former’s alleged drug use. Following the incident, the father consumed poison in an attempt to end his life. He was rushed to the Adimaly Taluk Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
