Man killed after heavy machinery falls on him at Northwest El Paso construction site

The Crime Against Persons unit is investigating the death of a man killed Wednesday morning at a construction site in Northwest El Paso. El Paso police officials confirmed that a person was killed in the incident on a construction site located on Paseo del Norte between Northern Pass Dr. and Canyon Wren Ave. around 10 a.m. EPPD Public Information Officers said heavy machinery fell on a man in his mid-30s. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) members were also at the scene conducting their own investigation. Medical examiners also arrived at the scene, followed by a tow truck that was used to move a construction vehicle.
